Armin Saule, our PCB-Designer, plays a crucial role in the process of product development at Astrol. He focuses on gate units, power supplies, and customized electronics. His expertise lies in PCB layout, where he designs printed circuit boards, ensuring adherence to design rules, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) standards, and overall production feasibility.
In his role, Armin is not only responsible for the design phase but also for creating comprehensive documentation necessary for proper production. He oversees production monitoring and is involved in the procurement of small series. Armin’s approach to PCB design incorporates considerations for cost optimization, the integration of cutting-edge technologies, and technical feasibility from the project’s inception.
Armin joined Astrol in 2013. His four-year training at the TBZ (Technische Berufsschule Zürich) laid the foundation for his career, and he further specialized in designing PCBs through various seminars and courses.
Armin Saule enjoys an active lifestyle. He likes hitting the gym, hiking in the mountains, or having meals with colleagues. Because of Switzerland’s lack of a seaside, Armin often plans vacations by the sea, embracing the opportunity to relax and recharge at the beach. His interests extend to electronic music and he’s always open to trying out new sports.
