Available options
Balancing Switch
This option is used as a pre-charge circuit to avoid high inrush currents when the breaker is closed. The additional IGBT-̶ resistor circuit balances the voltages on both sides of the breaker prior to closing the breaker (switch-on).
Fan Module
This option includes long-life fans to efficiently cool the busbars and power connections of the breaker. It is only available for the water cooled versions.
Option Selectivity / Zone Protection
This option is a well-proven solution that provides microsecond-fast coordination among multiple breakers via optical communication. It includes additional hardware and software within each breaker, configured to fit the specific requirements of each system architecture. Selectivity and zone protection are achieved through the autonomous coordination of the breakers, without requiring any action or signal from overall the system controller.
Mechanical Disconnector
For each breaker, an optional mechanical disconnector for galvanic isolation can be integrated.
