The GU-NT-RY-I1 Gate unit for phase control thyristor is designed especially for phase controlled thyristors. It can be used in series connection for up to 25 kV working voltages (isolation voltage up to 40 kV). The Gate unit is light triggered and generates besides an initial pulse current also a back porch current. The power supply is done by a current loop. It is also possible to energize the gate unit by using AC or DC voltages. For negative operating temperature range the back porch can be adapted. This is optional, and available upon request.
